About the Foundation

The Pomerene Foundation was created in 1995 with the goal of raising funds to support projects and services that assist the Hospital. The Foundation's mission, "Raising awareness and resources to support Pomerene Hospital's mission" is followed by very dedicated employees. The Pomerene Foundation acts as the fundraising and philanthropic arm of the hospital. 

The Pomerene Foundation gives back to the hospital and community through various avenues including healthcare scholarships, nursing scholarships, nurse education and training programs, medication funds and equipment purchases.
